Extending the matchmaking functionality to include communication with the recruiter includes adding an interactive communication panel that allows candidates and recruiters to directly exchange messages.
After logging in to the platform, users can browse tailored job offers and communicate with recruiters by sending questions, information about their professional experience or requests for additional information about a given offer.
Communication also works the other way around, where the Recruiter can contact the appropriate candidate (matched by the system) who expressed a desire to be contacted.

Before starting the project, I conducted research on user behaviour and their needs related to the recruitment process. This research included analysis of user feedback from the questionnaire pool, competition analysis and interviews with users to understand their expectations and needs.
User research results
User research showed that the main barrier in the recruitment process was difficulty in communicating with recruiters and obtaining quick answers to questions about job offers or "job spam" on other portals such as LinkedIn.
Many people have expressed the need to communicate directly with employers to obtain more detailed information about job offers and to progress faster in the recruitment process.
Competition analysis confirmed that platforms offering direct communication with recruiters are more popular among users.
UI Design
Based on the collected data and research results, I developed a user interface that is intuitive to use and ensures convenient communication between candidates and recruiters. The design also takes into account the principles of good UX (User Experience) design, such as readability, ease of navigation and consistency.
Iterative prototype testing
User interface prototypes were regularly tested by target groups (recruiters and candidates), allowing feedback to be collected and iterative improvements to be made to ensure an optimal user experience.
Implementation and functional tests
Once the final version of the user interface was approved, the functionality was implemented for use and then tested for functionality and any errors to ensure smooth operation on the platform.
